Sesame Oil has properties similar to that of Olive Oil and is a natural anti-oxidant. It is pale yellow in colour with no scent and can be used to help treat dry skin conditions and haemorrhoids.

Fact
The seeds are said to be helpful in cases of constipation and, when ground up with water, can be used to treat hemorrhoids. In Indian a liquid extract is made by boiling the seeds with water to use as an emmenagogue (Stuart 1987).
