This small thorn-bearing shrub can grow up to 2 metres in height, has fragrant pink blooms and creamy-white hairy leaves.
NOTE: The sign of a true Rose Otto is that it will crystallize if it drops much below room temperature, this is perfectly natural and the normal behaviour of the true Rose Otto oil (which is steam distilled). This does not apply to Rose Absolute oils.
History
The rose is well known for its healing virtures and was used for a wide range of complaints such as menstrual problems, headaches, nervous tension, liver congestion, poor circulation, fever and skin infections to name a few.
