Nutmeg essential oil has a sweet, warm, spicy aroma. Nutmeg is known to ease muscle aches and pains and for its beneficial effects on the digestive and nervous system. It blends particularly well with orange in a burner.

This evergreen tree can grow up to 20 metres in height, has dense foliage and small dull yellow flowers. The fruit resembles a small peach and the oil is obtained from the kernel of the seeds.
