This small evergreen tree can grow up to 4.5 metres in height, has sharp stiff spines and smooth green leaves with white flowers.
History
Lime shares many of its fine qualities with the lemon and was used for similar purposes including fevers, infections, sore throats, colds among other ailments. A good source of vitamin C, limes are available all year round, they are usually smaller and more sour than the lemon.
