Wild Marjoram essential oil has a warm and spicy herbaceous aroma that is more medical and camphoraceous than Sweet Marjoram. It has a nurturing and soothing effect on the body and mind and is deeply relaxing. It is also extremely versatile; easing aching muscles and joints, digestive and menstrual problems and nervous and respiratory complaints. Often added to sport massage blends.

This aromatic perennial bushy plant grows up to 60cm in height, has a hairy stem, green oval leaves with clusters of white flowers.
This versatile herb which has a soothing warming effect aids digestive and menstrual problems as well as nervous and respiratory complaints. It was a very popular herb amongst the Greeks and was widely used in medicine and perfumes. In the 16 century, it was strewn on the floor to mask unpleasant smells.
