Chamomile Roman essential oil is a pleasant, soft smelling oil with a apple-like notes. Traditionally, it has been used to promote relaxation and ease away stress. The most popular of the Chamomile oils, it is especially good for use with children.

This herb can grow up to 25cms high has a hairy stem with feathery type leaves and daisy like white flowers. It has a warm, sweet, fruity-herbaceous scent.

History

This herb has a medical reputation in Europe especially in the Mediterranean region for well over 2000 years. It is in the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia for the treatment of dyspepsia, nausea, anorexia etc.
